Locked Nucleic Acid (LNA)

LNAs are highly stabilized nucleic acid analogs containing a 2′-O, 4′-C methylene bridge. The improved structural stability of LNAs results in a higher hybridization melting temperature (Tm) and resistance to nucleases. This renders them suitable for optimized aptamer synthesis and precise IVD applications requiring SNP and allelic mutation detection.

Minor Groove Binder (MGB)

3′ MGB-conjugated probes offer high structural stability and specificity with increased Tm. Conjugation of MGBs enables to use short probes for higher specificity, especially for IVD applications.
